Cookie Cutters

One of my mom's hobbies is baking and decorating cookies. Once she had learned about my ability to use CAD, she asked me to design her some cookie cutters that she could 3-D print and use. Here are some of the cookie cutters that I have made for her.

Kimono

This first cutter is of a kimono, which is a traditional Japanese garment. The process to make this was quite simple. First, I created a sketch based on the top right image. From there, I extruded two layers of the sketch with offsets and then printed the resulting object. My mom was then able to create perfectly shaped kimono cookies.

The next cutter is of a piano. The process to make this one was exactly the same as the kimono: sketch the shape based on a template image and the extrude it.
